About the Role

Come help us fuel the growth and traction of our rapidly growing govtech start-up who is changing the face of government.

  • Become an expert in our suite of products and positioning for each type and persona of customer and community.
  • Identify prospects through industry research, building your network (online and in-person), and cold calling.
  • Design and execute sophisticated outreach campaigns to get to our customers faster and more efficiently through carefully crafted emails, phone calls, and any other outreach tactics.
  • Qualify all inbound and outbound sales leads before booking follow up calls with an Account Executive.
  • Follow up and nurture prospects until they are ready to engage with the Account Executive.
  • Learn to use our CRM and Sales Ops software to track and measure the accuracy of your leads, connection rate, and conversation from first touch to product demo to sales cycle.
  • Use databases and research skills to learn more about the prospect to ask relevant qualifying questions and run tailored engagement.
  • Develop a strong network of contacts and relationships. You’ll also have the chance to travel to conferences, pending any COVID-19 or other restrictions for safety.
  • Support lead generation campaigns by working closely with Account Executives, Sales Leadership, and Marketing.

  • 2+ years of experience in related field (e.g., Government, Sales, Business Development, Start-ups/Software) is a big plus
    • SaaS enterprise sales experience, especially govtech SaaS sales, is desirable, but not required.
  • Ideally you have at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field at a reputable institution (e.g., Commerce, Business Administration, Public Administration, or other).
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Mail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.), Slack, and other team collaboration tools.
